Frequently Asked Questions
Please see below for frequently asked questions. If your question is not answered in this section, please do not hesitate to contact Alicia, LMHC via email or phone.
How long are sessions typically?
Sessions are about 45-50 minutes in total. Any session that passes the 50-minute mark will be charged a small additional fee. However, there are exceptions to this policy, for example, if a patient is currently in crisis.
How much does a session cost?
Alicia Cadiz, LMHC offers both out-of-pocket services and insurance-supported options to best meet your needs. For clients choosing private pay, Alicia will work closely with you by providing superbills that can be submitted to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
For those who prefer to use insurance directly, Alicia is also partnered with two trusted third-party platforms, Grow Therapy and Alma. These platforms handle insurance verification, billing, and reimbursement on your behalf - making the process seamless and transparent.

It is the patient's responsibility to contact their insurance company to discuss out-of-network benefit coverage, reimbursement rates, changes in insurance policies, as well as any updated information from their insurance carrier.
Alicia Cadiz, LLC can provide receipts after services are completed and payment is collected that you can submit to your insurance company. Please reach out with any questions or guidance.

Cancellation Policy
If you need to re-schedule an appointment, it can be done by phone, text or e-mail. Appointments must be cancelled 24 hours before the appointment time or you will be charged the full session fee. This fee is not reimbursed by your insurance company. We are mindful of all of our clients busy schedules and you must keep in mind that if you don’t keep your appointment, that spot could have been given to another client in need.
