Alicia Cadiz, LMHC, is a Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist, CEO, Author, and Founder, dedicated to helping individuals rebuild confidence, heal from relationship challenges, and overcome addiction. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Criminology from Ramapo College of New Jersey and earned her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Manhattan College in 2021.

Alicia combines a strong academic foundation with practical experience to support clients in navigating life’s challenges. Her work emphasizes resilience, personal growth, and the mind-body-soul connection, helping individuals find balance and healing. Throughout her graduate training, Alicia worked closely with veterans, supporting their transition from deployment life to civilian and academic life. She also gained experience at a mental health agency in Rockland County, NY, providing therapeutic services to diverse populations, including those struggling with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, schizophrenia, depression, anxiety, grief, and addiction.

After completing her degree, Alicia relocated to Florida during the COVID-19 pandemic and spent two years working as a therapist in the Florida prison system. In order to follow her ultimate dream of working with veterans and first responders, Alicia chose to immerse herself on the other end of the spectrum to truly show her understanding of the hardships on the front lines. There, she supported incarcerated individuals in navigating addiction, helped manage the heaviness of a life sentence, and developed crisis, de-escalation, and behavioral management skills. Despite the challenges of long hours and high-intensity work, Alicia earned her licensure as a mental health counselor by passing the NCMHCE, an experience that deepened her belief in resilience, dedication, and the power of meaningful change.

In early 2024, Alicia launched and founded Healing With Alicia, a fully virtual private practice focused on helping clients navigate relationship issues, heal from breakups, and rebuild self-esteem. Since then, Alicia currently provides counseling services to veterans through the Florida VA, continuing her commitment to supporting those who’ve served, in addition to working with the Naples and Marco Island Fire Department in order to provide mental health services to First Responders.

Alicia has been recognized across multiple platforms for her work in mental health and holistic healing. She has been featured in Brainz Magazine, where she authored twelve original articles exploring themes ranging from the cellular foundation of a mother’s instinct versus quantum entanglement to the power of epigenetics and healing generational cycles of trauma. Her work and impact have also been highlighted by MSN in “Women Who Are Dominating Their Industries,” Essential Naples Magazine in “SWFL’s Top Holistic Psychotherapists,” and most recently, she has been verified and recognized in Influential Women for her contributions to the field of psychotherapy and emotional wellness.

In 2025, Alicia expanded her practice into a group model, welcoming additional therapists to join her team. At the heart of her work is a simple belief: healing begins when you're supported in exploring your story, identifying your strengths, and finding the courage to create lasting change.

Alicia Cadiz is a leader, breaking barriers, in the world of mental health. Alicia always knew she wanted to dedicate her life to holistically helping others reach their highest potential. She studied the work of Carl Jung at a young age and bases her therapeutic approach on his teachings. She explores every category of a client, mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual, as she helps uncover your shadows and unconscious self, bringing light and awareness to the parts of ourselves we want to hide.
