WELCOME TO HEALING WITH ALICIA

Alicia Cadiz, LMHC

Alicia Cadiz graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey in 2019, with a degree in Psychology and Criminology. Alicia then went on to attend Manhattan College where she obtained her Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2021. Throughout her two-year Master's Degree program, Alicia worked with veterans, helping acclimate them from deployment life to academic-civilian life, in addition to working at a Mental Health agency in Rockland County, NY. Once the pandemic took over the world, Alicia moved to Florida after graduating with her Master's Degree and worked in the Florida prison system for two years as a mental health therapist (pre-licensure).

Alicia helped the incarcerated population overcome addiction, navigated the trials and tribulations of those who had a life sentence, and provided de-escalation, crisis, and behavioral management techniques. During this time Alicia worked grueling 12-hour days, yet still managed to pass her licensure exam (NCMHCE) to become fully licensed in the state of Florida. This experience taught Alicia the meaning of hard work, dedication, ambition, and most importantly, that you can achieve anything you work hard enough for, as long as you believe you are strong enough to make a difference in the world.

At the start of 2024, Alicia launched her own private practice, Healing With Alicia, specializing in relationship issues, breakups, and addiction, with an emphasis on helping those gain their confidence back as well as helping rebuild their self-esteem. Alicia believes that it's her job to help you navigate your story and pinpoint your strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps toward change.

Alicia Cadiz is a leader, breaking barriers, in the world of mental health. Alicia always knew she wanted to dedicate her life to holistically helping others reach their highest potential. She studied the work of Carl Jung at a young age and bases her therapeutic approach on his teachings. She explores every category of a client, mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual, as she helps uncover your shadows and unconscious self, bringing light and awareness to the parts of ourselves we want to hide. Energy does not lie and neither does the power of the universe.
